How to get started with MeetVista on monday.com

This guide will walk you through the steps to access and use MeetVista and get started with visual collaboration directly within your monday.com workspace.

Installation and Setup Requirements

Before we can get started, please ensure the following:

  • Your device has an updated web browser that supports modern web applications.
  • An active internet connection is required for syncing and real-time collaboration features.
  • You have an active monday.com account (if you don’t have one, you can sign up during the setup process).
  • You have created a board in your monday.com account.

Installation

  • Go to the monday.com Marketplace or the MeetVista website.
  • Install the MeetVista app.
  • Review the required permissions and click Install.
  • Once installed, you can access MeetVista from the Apps section within your monday.com account.

Uninstalling MeetVista

Warning:
If you uninstall MeetVista, all resources associated with your account — including boards, members, and data — will be permanently deleted.
This operation cannot be undone. You can reinstall MeetVista later, but all previous data will be lost.

Important:
Your subscription to MeetVista is managed separately from your monday.com subscription. Uninstalling the MeetVista app from monday.com does not automatically cancel your MeetVista subscription. To avoid being charged for a subscription you are no longer using, please ensure you cancel your MeetVista subscription through the monday.com Marketplace.

First-Time Use: Account Setup

  • Sign in or sign up for a MeetVista account to create your free MeetVista account.
  • The first user to onboard MeetVista from a monday.com account automatically becomes the Account Manager.
  • Each user must sign in or sign up individually to gain access to MeetVista features.

Creating your first MeetVista board

Board views in monday.com are shared at the account level, which means they are available to all users in the account. If one user deletes a board view, it is removed for everyone, not just for the individual who performed the action.

In MeetVista, each MeetVista board is attached to a specific board view, and this relationship is stored in monday.com’s storage. When a user opens that board view again, the associated MeetVista board is automatically loaded. As a result, if the meetvista board is private, users who do not have access will see a private or access-restricted message instead of the board content.

If a team needs to work with multiple MeetVista boards, the recommended approach is to use multiple board views—for example, one board view for sprint planning and another for daily stand-ups. It is easy to misunderstand this and instead use a single board view while switching between boards via the MeetVista dashboard. This can lead to confusion, especially when one of the boards is private.

Manage users in your MeetVista account

  • When a user signs in or signs up to MeetVista from a monday.com account, a seat is allocated to that user.
  • The number of available seats is determined by the MeetVista plan you have subscribed to.
  • The Account Manager can manage users and seats from the MeetVista dashboard.
